Christine had a short break during Konnarock Trail Crew season and I drove to Virginia for a hike on the AT in the Mt. Rogers area. It was one of the most perfect weekends.
The mountain ponies had just given birth and the new foals stayed close to mom, and were very cute.

The highlight was the Rhododendron. By accident we hit the mountain side during the exact peak weekend. The trail was just lined with Rhodos.
